Bush's Nat'l Address

Did anybody other than me watch Prez Bush's address?

I thought his attempt to make America sad about the sacrifice of a soldier and his family was a really low blow. There are always pro- and con-examples about every issue, and I was hoping he would stay away from that kind of thing. But we know Bush, what can we do?

Forgetting the politics of his speech, I thought I could read it better. I saw his eyes following the telepromter, and he paused

after every sentence,

and sometimes between phrases in sentences. Isn't our President usually a better speaker?

I'd love to hear what everybody else thought about the speech if you watched it.
